DOODLEDEE, IT'S ME!

Let's draw a line, a circle and a belly button. This is me. Look at me! I roll, I rise, I fall ... wow! One more time. Let's play. Catch me if you can! You made it. I did it, too. We can do it. We’re the best!
Doodledee, it's me! is a playful and poetic visual dance-theater performance for the little ones. It represents a study of the way that small children perceive themselves at different stages of their development. As they grow, they become more aware of their bodies and it is crucial that we provide them with support in developing a healthy body image.
The visual elements of the play are based on the drawings by the little ones throughout the first six years of their lives. It’s a story of getting to know oneself: I am. I can. An ode to the body - to inspire and to admire.
